Your Backlinks
All 40 links pointing at your site, named and graded one by one — and why the alarming-looking spam score is not the finding that matters.
Every link pointing at daniellecarron.com, pulled live on 2026‑08‑05 and graded individually. Source artifact: raw/danielle_backlinks_list.json.
40 links from 30 referring domains. The summary figure that prompted this pull was your site-wide backlinks_spam_score of 41 — high enough that it had to be explained rather than reported.

What this actually means
The number that looks alarming is not the finding, so take the alarm off the table first.
You did not do this, and it is probably not hurting you
Look at the anchor-text column. On 26 of 30 referring domains the anchor is the bare string daniellecarron.com — not a phrase a human would choose, but exactly what an automated scraper writes when it indexes a domain it found in a crawl. Two of them go further and use the anchor text “High Quality Dofollow Backlinks DA 50 PA 40” — those are link farms advertising their own service, and your domain is just inventory in the shop window.
This is unsolicited spam that arrives at essentially every domain on the internet that has existed for a while. It is not evidence of anything you or a previous consultant did wrong.
Do not rush to disavow. Google has algorithmically discounted this class of junk for years — the disavow tool exists mainly for manual penalties and for links somebody paid for on purpose. Filing a careless disavow is one of the few ways to turn a non-problem into a real one, because the file is a blunt instrument and a mistake in it removes real links. The correct posture is: know it is there, watch it, do nothing. Revisit only if Search Console ever reports a manual action — and Search Console does not exist yet (S18.2), which is its own argument for installing it.
One thing genuinely worth noting: the two link-farm anchors were first seen on 2026‑08‑02 and 2026‑08‑04 — days before this was pulled. The spam is active and ongoing, not historical. Still not actionable; just do not be surprised when the count grows.
The real finding: you have three real links
Strip out the automated noise and 3 referring domains remain:
| Domain | What it is | Value |
|---|---|---|
poddtoppen.se |
A Swedish podcast directory — 6 links, dofollow, domain rank 417, spam score 0. Your highest-authority link by a wide margin. | Real. It exists because you appeared on podcasts. This is the single clearest piece of evidence in the entire audit that guesting works for you. |
www.alchemessence.com |
A peer's site — 3 links, dofollow, spam score 0, with a genuinely human anchor: “Another good friend who quietly slips shaman…” | Real. A colleague recommending you in prose. The most valuable kind of link there is, and the hardest to manufacture. |
directory.traumahealing.org |
The trauma-healing practitioner directory — nofollow, domain rank 381, spam score 0. | Real but passes no ranking value. Still worth having: it is a credential citation in exactly your field, and directories like this are read by humans and cited by AI assistants. |
One podcast directory, one friend, one listing. Everything else is machine exhaust. Twenty years of clinical training, two master’s degrees, conference credentials — three links, two of which came from showing up on someone else’s platform. That’s not a toxicity problem, it’s a visibility problem, and her own data already names the fix: guesting is the one thing that has ever worked for her.
The job, then, is not cleaning up the 27 junk domains. They are weather. The job is that poddtoppen.se — your single strongest link — exists purely because you talked on somebody else’s podcast, and nothing else you have ever done online has produced its equal. Guesting (S11) is not a theory for you. It is the one lever with a proven result attached, and the playbook is aimed at pulling it deliberately instead of by accident.
